The beautiful ancient structure of the hotel offers a unique experience. The staff was nice and the check-in process was smooth. The location of the hotel was perfect as it allowed us to explore a stunning medieval village located within walking distance. the panoramic view from the hotel was breathtaking.
As expected from a monastery, the bell used to call for mass could be heard early in the morning, which could cause inconvenience to light sleepers. , the lack of modern amenities could be a problem for some, as there is no lift in the hotel and the room had no TV nor Wi-Fi.

The ancient structure was simply amazing; you can't help but feel provoked by its history. the staff was really friendly, giving us loads of tips on where to go. Great toiletries, high-quality, and very soothing. the small village nearby was 100% Italian, with fantastic narrow streets and historic architecture. Not a problem at all waking up early, the bell chime is an element that made us feel part of a real monastery.
To be honest, there's only one thing that caught our attention and it's not really a problem at all. the bell meant to call for the mass was audible early in the morning.
